Physcomitrium patens strain:Gransden 2004 | isolate: protonemata smg1 KO line2 Raw sequence reads

Nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) is a system performing abnormal RNA degradation. Here, we present direct RNA sequencing data of Physcomitrium patens protonemata smg1 KO line 2 mutant with the knockout of SMG1 component of the NMD system (Lloyd, Davies 2013). RNA was isolated by Trizol from 5-day old protonemata and sequenced using kit SQK-RNA002, flowcells FLO-MIN106 and MinION device. One flowcell was used for each one of three biological replicates. Basecalling was performed with Guppy v. 4.0.15.
