Average online shopping expenditure in Spain 2020, by category

In 2021, two e-commerce categories exceeded an average yearly spend of 2,000 euros in Spain, motor vehicles and insurance and financial payments. Although part of smaller ticket items, groceries expenditure surpassed 1,000 euros per year among Spanish web shoppers. Electronics and tourism services followed, each with annual spending of over 700 euros.
