Statistical comparison of cloacal movements (respiration rates) among treatments.

Results of one-way repeated measures ANOVA on ranks, followed by Tukey tests. The increase in cloacal opening rates of tagged and punctured sea cucumbers in the body wall (TBW, PBW) and in the tentacles (TT, PBW) was compared to the control group (C) at various intervals post tagging. Sea cucumbers tagged at the base of oral tentacles recovered normal rates 5 h earlier than individuals tagged in the body wall.
