A dataset of carbon flux component of typical terrestrial ecosystems in Asian region (1990–2015)

Carbon flux components of terrestrial ecosystem including gross primary production, ecosystem respiration and net ecosystem production, serve as the most important direct ecosystem indices for material production, carbon sequestration and climate regulation. Based on systematically collected carbon flux components data measured by eddy covariance technique during the period of 1990–2015 in Asian region (excluding China region), we constructed the dataset of terrestrial ecosystems carbon flux component in Asian region. The dataset includes multi-years’ annual records of gross primary production, ecosystem respiration and net ecosystem production from 45 typical ecosystems during the period of 1990–2015 in Asian region. In addition, it includes some basic meteorological and vegetation information such as site location, climate zone, ecosystem type, plant type, mean annual air temperature, mean annual total precipitation, and measurement period, etc.
