lncRNA expression profiles of 10 paired thyroid cancer tissues including normal tissues, tumor tissues and metastatic lymph nodes

The incidence of thyroid cancer (THC) is growing rapidly worldwide. Exploring the mechanisms underlying pathogenesis and dedifferentiation of thyroid cancer is compellingly needed. Considering the important role of lncRNAs playing in tumorigenesis, we systemically screened differentially expressed lncRNAs by RNA sequence of pairing THC specimens. Overall design: In order to identify landscape of lncRNAs during THC progression and metastasis, RNA sequencing of paired THC tissues was performed, and the different expressed lncRNAs were reanalyzed referring to the results of TANRIC visualization. Filtered lncRNAs were supposed to be functional during carcinogenesis and metastasis of THC.
