Sequencing of microbial diversity in common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.)

The antipsychotic drugs olanzapine and risperidone have received widespread attention for their effects on aquatic organisms due to their widespread use and continued release in aquatic environments. This research aimed to use common carp to explore the effects of OLA and RIS on behavior and the potential mechanisms driving these effects. 16S rRNA gene sequencing revealed gut microbiota disorder and a decreased relative abundance of some strains related to SCFAs production.
