Acute pancreatitis was aggravated in intestinal epithelial TLR4 knockout mice in a gut microbiota-dependent manner. Specially, The relative abudance of lactobacillus remarkably decreased in KO mice. Furthermore, Lactobacillus reuteri treatentment can significantly improve the poor AP phenotype in KO mice.
