资源简介:

Perimeter: Wild animal corridors are sections in the movement axes of wild animals that are laterally bounded by natural or human structures or intensively used areas. They thus represent ‘bottlenecks’, which must be kept open to the fauna in view of a functioning network system. Data on wildlife corridors are taken from the baseline report Wildlife Corridors 2.0, 2023. Waiting rooms: Waiting rooms are areas with good habitat quality – including quiet contiguous areas, good food supply. In these, for example, wild mammals can find peace after stressful situations – e.g. crossing a cleared landscape or busy roads – and/or wait for twilight/night until the potential for disruption has decreased.
