Vertical atmospheric profiling by Microwave Radiometer during the ice breaker Shirase cruise of the 64th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition

Meteorological observations were made in the Southern Ocean on board the R/V Shirase from December 2022 to March 2023 as a part of the 64th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE). During the cruise, continuous vertical (temperature, absolute humidity, liquid water density) and surface (e.g., integrated water vapor, pressure, temperature, relative humidity liquid water path) atmospheric structures were observed by Microwave Radiometer.
