Replication Data for: "The Measure of the Archive: The Robustness of Network Analysis in Early Modern Correspondence"

Code and text for "The Measure of the Archive: The Robustness of Network Analysis in Early Modern Correspondence" This repository contains the code and data necessary to reproduce results and figures as published in the paper. In this paper we removed progressively larger portions of three early modern correspondence networks (which are included here as edge lists, ultimately derived from correspondence metadata) to test networks for robustness. Primary data tables are in R Data format as used in the robustness scripts, but tab separated values versions of the three primary tables (one for each correspondence dataset) have been included. The data have been anonymised by swapping names/IDs with a random key - the full cleaned network data will be released at a later date.
