HP3 radiometer thermopile sensors spectral response

This table provides the assumed response of the thermopile sensors of the HP3 radiometer as function of wavelength based on data of the manufacturer. This is derived by multiplying sensor filter window transmittance with thermopile absorbance. Data for short wavelength filter beyond 50 micrometer is not available and here assumed to be identical to the broad band filter window due to the same window material (Si). The Ge long wavelength filter transmittance has been measured to 27 micrometer and is assumed to be zero.<br><br>
