Microbial communities from the Pescadero Basin. hydrothermal vent metagenome

The Pescadero Basin is a recently discovered hydrothermal field located in the Gulf of California. It shares many similarities with the near hydrothermal field of the Guaymas Basin, including the methane-rich fluids circulating through the sediments. Here, we performed metagenomic sequencing form Pescadero rock samples to reconstruct the genomes of the microorganisms inhabiting this environment.
