To better understand the colonization and potential virulence features of coral and sponge symbionts from the genus Vibrio, we report the draft genome of Vibrio sp. Vb150 isolated from the marine sponge Ircinia variabilis. The annotated genome exhibits a variety of host colonization along with potential pathogenic features.
