The following is a summary of excavations of Unit 35 at Flying Fish Village, LA 37767. The site is located on the first terrace above the floodplain on the south side of Seco Creek. The Seco is a drainage of the Black Range, flowing into the Rio Grande to the east. This site contains several one-story masonry roomblocks, as well as some possible isolated rooms associated with the Mimbres Classic period. In addition, there is a smaller occupation on the hill directly south of the site.
