Small holder pig farming in South Africa

This is the dataset utilized for my dissertation in which structured questionnaires were used to collect data. The data was then typed into an excel spreadsheet using headings and assigned values to prepare statistical analysis using R software. This study aimed to evaluate the production practices of smallholder pig farmers in the North West Province. It was conducted in two phases: firstly, production data from six commercial farms representing small (1200 sows) farms were analysed for production parameters; while phase two focused on smallholders in the North West Province.
