In the project, we aimed to perform transcriptomic analysis of K18-hACE2-mice that were either on normal diet or high fat diet (model of type 2 diabetes). Mice were challenged in SARS-CoV-2 (Alpha variant) and compared to non-challenged mice. Mouse lungs were used to prepare RNA samples for RNAseq analysis
