Muhr-Brunnen

Since the year 2000, a large number of the fountains designed by Hans Muhr have been located in Vienna. With the help of sponsors, they have been installed throughout the city. The Muhr fountain, which is almost 1.5 metres high, consists of a 1.3 metre high natural stone and cast bronze parts. At the top, 3 small water jet arcs emerge from two nozzles, which together form a "W" (=Wien/Vienna). The largest cast part, as the front side of the fountain, forms the outlet for the water in one piece, a small basin below it, which merges into a drain pipe and leads the water into a small collecting basin near the ground, which serves as a watering place for animals. The stone block sits on four bronze feet. Above the water outlet is the name of the sponsor, in this case the Anker company (most important producers of baked goods in Austria). As a gift of friendship the fountain was also installed in Berlin, Budapest, Chicago, Geneva, Hong Kong, Leipzig and Stockholm. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
