This strain is an Escherichia coli strain originating from the spotted deer in Heilongjiang Province, China. This strain showed a multidrug-resistant phenotype in the drug sensitivity test. The sika deer is a special economic animal breed in China, to investigate the reasons for the occurrence of multiple drug resistance in this strain, whole genome sequencing was performed on the strain.
