Supplementary Data 2 to the manuscript "Unexpected abundance of cable bacteria in deep anoxic sediments reveals a novel biogeochemical niche". Datasets include bacterial abundance (from SSU 16S rRNA identified with Kraken2 + Bracken), partial 16S rRNA sequences of cable bacteria (13 Candidatus Electrothrix) identified after assembly of total rRNA libraries and annotation with SILVA 138 plus 44 cable bacteria 16S rRNA sequences (BLASTN) and quantification with coverM (TPM). Pearson correlations of Desulfobulbacea and Beggiatoaceae abundance with depth from sediments in Koljö Fjord and Offshore station from Tvärminne archipelago (Southern Finland).
