We characterized primary human bronchial epithelial cells (pHBECs) from end-stage COPD and pulmonary healthy individuals. The transcriptomic profiles were assessed by single cell analysis in serial samples of pHBEC culture focussing on basal cell differentiation. The serial single cell RNA sequencing analysis was performed by using the Drop-seq technology on seven different culture timepoints (day 0, 3, 5, 7, 14, 21, 28). Raw data not provided due to patient privacy restrictions.
