Student absenteeism at Technical vocational education and training (TVET) colleges

This study investigated student absenteeism at a TVET college in Pretoria. The rationale of the study was to reduce the recurring absenteeism among students which results in lecturers not completing their work scheduled in time. The study used semi-structured interview to collect data from participants. The study adopted qualitative case study within an interpretivism paradigm.

本研究针对比勒陀利亚的一所职业技术学院的在校学生缺勤情况进行了探讨。研究的初衷在于降低学生频繁缺勤的现象，该现象导致讲师无法按时完成既定的教学任务。研究采用了半结构化访谈的方式收集参与者的数据。研究采用了定性案例研究，并在诠释主义范式下进行。
