TRIPLE LifeDetect AstroBioLab Mass Spectrometry Function Test Metadata
收藏资源简介:
Before diving into the metadata, please refer to the description of the LifeDetect system and the TRIPLE project. Initial functional verification of the mass-spectrometry channel was performed at breadboard level using the ESS EcoSys-P portable mass spectrometer in a temperature-controlled laboratory at FH Aachen, at approximately 22 °C. The instrument was operated over its nominal 1–200 amu mass range across 100 consecutive scan cycles. Prior to environmental-sample testing, the channel was evaluated using argon, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide reference gases. These measurements reproduced the expected peaks at their nominal m/z values and confirmed correct species assignment across the low-to mid-mass range. For an integrated end-to-end test of the headspace interface, a 3.5% NaCl aqueous matrix was subsequently analyzed, and acetone was introduced part-way through the run as a volatile test analyte. keywords: Mass Spectrometry
