Hydro-operational dataset for: Climate-driven drought challenges Spain's largest interbasin water transfer
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the simulated hydro-operational outputs of the Tagus–Segura interbasin water transfer (IBWT) system under multiple climate scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP3-7.0, SSP5-8.5) and climate models. Each record corresponds to a monthly time step and includes hydrological inputs (natural inflows), system state variables (reservoir storage), and operational decisions derived from a fuzzy inference system (FIS), such as transfers and releases. Water balance components, including evaporation and system losses, are explicitly represented. The dataset also provides temporal variables (year, month) and operational thresholds for donor and recipient basins, enabling the assessment of hydro-operational stress conditions. Separate datasets are available for each operating scheme analysed in the study (baseline, adaptive and optimised), allowing consistent comparison of system performance under different management strategies and climate forcings.
