LGRB-BW INSPIRE LED: Earthquake measurement stations (Geophysics: Geophysical Stations) – Dataset

The network of measuring stations for earthquake registration in Baden-Württemberg includes permanent and temporary installations in various technical and functional orientations: 1. sensitive detection stations, 2. Severe earthquake measurement stations, 3. Hybrid stations that combine detection and severe earthquake properties. This applies to both the LED’s own earthquake measuring stations and those of other operators. Today, all permanent measuring stations transmit their data close to real time via mobile communications, DSL or Internet to the headquarters of the LED in Freiburg. The temporary installations are mostly offline. The now closed earthquake measuring stations are partly still analog recording technology, etc.
