This recording shows the change in construction methods and materials in Thragom. The block was made by workers and local community members. Unlike in the past when house construction was a community affair, where everyone lent a hand, in this case, the construction of the house is assigned to the lowest bidder. This recording was made by Tashi Tshewang, a native of the Dakpa community of Thragom, Trashiyangte, Bhutan. The participants are Tshering, Chador, Ngawang Namgay, Ugyen, Drolay, and Sonam.
