资源简介:
climate_pop.csv Contains latitude, longitude, elevation and 23 climate variables downloaded from Climate NA for each population. Definitions of climate variables may be found at https://climatena.ca/Help2. Climate variables included in the initial analysis due to relevance to possible O. biennis fitness are: MAT=mean annual temperature (°C), MWMT= mean warmest month temperature (°C), MCMT= mean coldest month temperature (°C), TD=temperature difference between MWMT and MCMT (°C), NFFD=number of frost-free days, DD18=degree-days above 18°C, MAR= mean annual solar radiation (MJ m‐2d‐1), MAP=mean annual precipitation (mm), MSP=mean summer precipitation (mm), CMD=Hargreaves climatic moisture deficit (mm), RH=mean annual relative humidity (%). KSR_individual_final.csv Phenotypic, seed size, and herbivory data collected for each plant in the common garden. Flowering Date and Bolt Date are given as Julian days. SLA = specific leaf area, l1 through to l5 are the lengths of five fruits per plant. d1 through d5 is the diameter for five fruits per plant. bug = number of Philaenus spumarius bugs found on each plant. S. florida = fruits damaged by the Schinia florida, M. brevivitella = number of fruits damaged by seed predator Mompha brevivitella. totphe_final.csv Total phenolics and phenolics remaining after oxidation calculated for leaf, flower, and fruit tissues. Values are given as population averages due to averaging of tissue by mass prior to phenolic extraction. Detailed methods for plant chemistry are found in (Anstett et al. 2015). Totphe = Total Phenolics (mg/g dry mass). pH_10 = phenolics remaining after pH oxidation (mg/g dry mass). oe_final.csv Ellagitannin concentration data for individual compounds that represent a significant part of the dry weight of O. biennis and are known to defend against herbivores. Concentrations (mg/g dry mass) are given for oenothein A and oenothein B for leaf, flower, and fruit tissues. Values are given as population averages due to averaging of tissue by mass prior to phenolic extraction. Detailed methods for plant chemistry are found in (Anstett et al. 2015). ksr_m.csv Combined dataset for the O. biennis common garden containing geographic and climatic variables as well as population means for herbivory, phenology, morphology, and plant chemical defenses.
