A real-world dataset of smartwatch heart rate, temperature, shift data and self-reported strain in nurses

Smartwatch (Withings ScanWatch 2) heart rate, temperature and step counts recorded during work shifts of 14 nurses over three months in 2025, with shift-level self-reported strain labels (burden, satisfaction, compatibility with private life), shift codes and timestamps. Nurse and shift identifiers are randomly reassigned and dates are shifted by a constant undisclosed offset. Accompanies the Scientific Data Data Descriptor; code for subject-independent baselines is included.
