Energy Supply and Demand Database for 14 Pacific Island Countries

Energy demand and supply datasets of countries are critical in analysing the energy transition roadmap to mitigate global temperature rise. To address the prevailing data scarcity, we developed a dataset for 14 Pacific island countries that includes their existing electricity generation capacity, load projections for power, heat, and transportation sectors, and onshore and offshore renewable energy potential. We verified our dataset from individual reports and energy statistics from the United Nations and the International Energy Agency to maintain consistency and robustness.
