Player Perception of Chinese Cultural Signs in the Localization of League of Legends

This dataset contains survey responses from 93 Chinese players of League of Legends (LOL), collected between July 15 and August 10, 2025. The survey was designed to measure players' perception of Chinese cultural elements in the game's localization and their relationship with player comprehension, acceptance, and enjoyment. The data was used in the study: "Reconstruction, Adaptation, and Suppression: Three-Layer Semiotic Translation in the Chinese Localization of League of Legends."
