Cédula real que ordena al virrey de la Nueva España supervisar la financiación y el envío de cincuenta misioneros franciscanos solicitados por fray Juan Francisco Ramírez para la Provincia del Santo Evangelio de México. Los misioneros debían servir no solo en los conventos y misiones de Tampico y Nuevo México, sino también en otras provincias y fronteras internas según fuera necesario. El rey dispone que la Provincia del Santo Evangelio reembolse a la Real Hacienda los gastos de su reclutamiento, equipamiento y transporte. —— Royal decree ordering the Viceroy of New Spain to oversee the funding and deployment of fifty Franciscan missionaries Fray Juan Francisco Ramírez requested for the Province of the Holy Gospel of Mexico. The missionaries were to serve not only in the convents and missions of Tampico and New Mexico but also in other provinces and internal frontiers as needed.
