Clinical validation of fixed blood host-response mRNA assays in acute care: systematic review data and code

Corrective public package for a systematic review of fixed multigene blood host-response mRNA assays in adult acute care. Version 2.0.1 completes the public evidence-set chronology, replaces internal workflow labels with neutral methods language, clarifies that a limited number of brief source phrases are retained in quotation marks in Additional file 7, and binds the verified repository and registry-status identifiers. Scientific tables and final counts are unchanged from version 2.0.0. The archive reports 43 included reports, 21 principal contrasts and 30 principal operating points. It also retains the screening limitation that 46,662 concordant rule-based exclusions were not individually human-rescreened; the 0/3,000 upper bound applies only to the probability-sampling stratum. The prospective OSF registration is publicly available at https://osf.io/5mvbd/. As of 10 August 2026, the PROSPERO record remained not yet registered because one co-author approval was outstanding; no CRD registration number had been assigned.
