Change of container throughput in Europe 2015-2021

Container throughput in Europe shot up in 2021, rising by 4.6 percent compared to the previous year when the throughput had contracted by 3.2 percent. The last time container throughput in the region declined year-on-year was in 2015. That year, container throughput was down by 1.7 percent compared to 2014.
