Mono-Colored Raw paired dataset (MCR)

We propose a dataset comprising monochromatic and color raw image pairs, termed the Monochromatic Raw Pairing (MCR) dataset, which is collected using a monochromatic camera without a Bayer filter and a color camera equipped with a Bayer filter. To the best of our knowledge, no existing datasets contain monochromatic and Bayer raw image pairs captured by identical sensors. To construct this dataset, we captured image pairs of the same scene using two cameras, denoted as Cam-Color and Cam-Mono3. Both cameras are equipped with identical 1/2-inch CMOS sensors and output an imaging pixel array of 1,280H × 1,024V. However, only Cam-Color is fitted with a Bayer color filter. Cam-Color is utilized to capture color raw images in this study, while Cam-Mono captures monochromatic raw images.
