EXAMPLE INPUT DATA FOR DA MODULE

This dataset contains sample input files required to run the 3DVAR aerosol data assimilation system for MODIS radiance observations. The dataset includes a minimal test case with: 1. WRF-Chem model output (wrfout.nc, wrfz.nc, mixing_mie_data.nc): Meteorological fields and aerosol optical properties at MODIS wavelengths (469, 555, 645, 858, 2100 nm) 2. MODIS observation data (RAD_modis_m_*.nc, SUP_modis_m_*.nc): Level 1B radiance observations and Level 2 auxiliary data 3. Atmospheric composition data (o3_du_*.nc): Ozone column concentration 4. Background error covariance files (eigen_m.nc, reg_m.nc, ls_m.nc): Eigenvalues, regression coefficients, and length scales for background error statistics 5. Surface albedo data (surfinput.nc): White-Sky Albedo for 5 MODIS bands (if surface assimilation is enabled) 6. Configuration file (info.txt): Time window specification The dataset enables users to test and verify the code functionality without preparing all input files from scratch. Files are in NetCDF format and should be placed in the ./input/ directory of the assimilation system.
