Latvian Used-car Market Announcements Monitoring in 2023

Used-car market monitoring was started in 2018, 03 January, when Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig (Germany) allowed cities and communes in Germany to impose bans for diesel cars in order to reduce the level of nitric oxide in the air. This data-set represent 6th year of market monitoring, 2023. This research represent passenger vehicles only. Database represent main important used cars characteristics at the market such as price, motor type (diesel and so un), gearbox type, auto color, car body type, following technical inspection date, set of car. The 2023 year database analysis results shows changes in the used-car market taking into account pan-European trends towards increasing requirements for environmentally friendly cars. In subsequent years, the research will continue, given the increasing need to switch completely to zero emission transport in the EU.
