Barkley Canyon Head Turbidity Meter Deployed 2017-06-15

The Aquatec AQUAlogger 210TYT (SN 024-136) was deployed on 2017-06-15 at Barkley Canyon Head. Barkley Canyon Head is located within Barkley Canyon, where benthic processes and sediment dynamics are observed. This device is a Turbidity Meter. Turbidity meters are sensors that detect scattered light from suspended particles in water. The amount of scattered light that reaches the detector is proportional to the turbidity or particle concentration in the water. It was deployed on a fixed platform.
