Longitudinal HIV-1 env sequencing in an individual with a broadly neutralizing antibody response

Rational design of HIV-1 immunogens to trigger the development of broadly neutralizing antibodies requires understanding the viral evolutionary pathways influencing this process.Here we explore viral evolution associated with the development of neutralization breadth in a subject developing CD4bs- and V1/V2-specific responses.
