Development and Validation of Digital Amnesia Scale

• Study consisted of 616 college students aged between 18 and 25 years (M = 19.29, SD = 1.37). Among the participants, 275 were males (44.6%) and 341 were females (55.4%). • EFA was carried out to extract the underlying factor structure of the DAS. • Data were extracted using the Principle Component Method with Varimax rotation. • EFA generated a 3-factor model namely Digital Distraction, Digital Dependency, and Digital Detox. These three factors explained 61.59% of the variance. • CFA was carried out to validate the factor structure of the DAS. • Convergent Validity and Discriminant Validity were established.
