Lineage- and ploidy-specific abundances and enhanced metabolism of rhizosphere bacterial communities influence plant invasion

Here, we provide evidence of lineage and ploidy-specific rhizosphere microbiome-plant interactions influencing plant invasion. We carried out comparative vertical profiling of rhizosphere bacterial communities of co-occurring exotic polyploid, Prosopis juliflora and its native diploid congener, P. cineraria.
