This data set contains the original data for the combined PIV/LIF measurement of a turbulent jet at a Reynolds number of 2000.<br>This data was originally used to determine the mixing in a turbulent jet, but its main use was for the investigation of the mechanics of the turbulent/non-turbulent interface and the entrainment process. For this purpose measurements were carried out with combined particle image velocimetry (PIV) and laser-induced fluorescence (LIF). All data is contained in a Matlab data file (*.mat). PIV data are in pixel [px] units; LIF data are normalised relative to a calibration concentration field.
本数据集包含雷诺数(Reynolds number)为2000的湍流射流的联合粒子图像测速(particle image velocimetry, PIV)与激光诱导荧光(laser-induced fluorescence, LIF)原始测量数据。
