Chapter 15: Building geological timescales and assigning chronometric time to rocks

This is an excel file and the spreadsheet workings for performing the Worked example 15.2, in which is constructed an age model for Devonian conodont zones. This file constructs the initial reference section composite using a reference-section type approach, and in addition all the workings towards the final age assignments to the conodont zone boundaries, based on the BChron-based age modelling approach outlined in Chapter 15.
