Monstera function of leaf fenestrations

Measurement of leaf fenestrations, leaf lobulation, and exploration of their role in leaf thermal and hydraulic regulation. There was a positive relationship between the degree of fenestration and lobulation, and leaf perimeter with stomatal density and leaf temperature, which supports the thermoregulation and hydraulic function mechanisms.
