Indonesian Susenas: 1982

Susenas, or the National Socio-Economic Survey, is a nationally and annually based household survey conducted to collect Indonesian based consumption and expenditure data. Variables include main activity status the week before and year leading up to census interview, employment status, type of employment - main and additional, number of hours and days worked per week in main and other employment position(s), permanancy of job, income from main form of employment and other sources of income, reasons looking for/not looking for work and methods used to find work, whether member of household is working in agriculture, plantation planting, fisheries, industry, trade/commerce, transportation, service industry or administration; source of and uses for credit, home based industries; and associated questions on household well being and welfare issues. Background variables include sex, age, marital status, respondents connection to household, educational attainment, schooling of occupants between 5 and 29 years, total household income, size and type of family.
