资源简介:
The subsurface Oil Simulation (SOSim) model is applied to use the measured field observations and OSCAR model simulations in a case study of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, a continuous blowout of submerged oil. SOSim model can infer the present and future location of submerged water-column oil in three dimensions. The dataset includes input data (location and concentration of field and prior data) and output data (a relative probability map of finding submerged oil). Explanations of the input and output are included in a readme style document, and the predictions for 2010-05-21 and 2010-06-04 are also included in NetCDF format. Oil coverage observations from 2010-05-15 to 2010-05-25 provide initial conditions on the simulation.
