Annotated SdiA protein structure - ribbon diagram

Attached is the ribbon diagram of the sdiA protein annotated. The Swiss model was used to predict protein structure https://swissmodel.expasy.org/. The ligands represent binding sites, which can be essential cues to inhibit quorum sensing. Although derived from <i>E.coli,</i> protein homology between <i>Salmonella</i> species and <i>E.coli</i> is very high as they are both from the Enterobacteriaceae family and use the <i>sdiA</i> gene to detect QSM produced from other organisms.
