Within-session dose-response and between-session carry-over effects of eccentric contractions versus static stretches on range of motion and muscle-tendon mechanics dataset
收藏资源简介:
This dataset in the excel spreadsheet depicts the raw data for the within-session dose-response and between-session carry-over effects of eccentric contractions versus static stretches (Dataset tab) and participant demographics and order of testing (Demographics tab). Each intervention consisted of 5 sets of either 30-s stretches or 10 × 3-s eccentric contractions and was repeated with 48-72 hr between testing sessions. Participant numbers are in column A with data for each variable (column B) are separated into 4 conditions: 1) The first static stretch (SS1) intervention (columns C [pre-training], D [Set 1], E [Set 2], F [Set 3], G [Set 4], H [Set 5]) 2) The second static stretch (SS2) intervention (columns I [pre-training], J [Set 1], K [Set 2], L [Set 3], M [Set 4], N [Set 5]) 3) The first eccentric contraction (EC1) intervention (columns O [pre-training], P [Set 1], Q [Set 2], R [Set 3], S [Set 4], T [Set 5]) 4) The second eccentric contraction (EC2) intervention (columns U [pre-training], V [Set 1], W [Set 2], X [Set 3], Y [Set 4], Z [Set 5]). The equipment and software used to measure and collect the data for the variables listed in the spreadsheet are listed in the word document with all abbreviations reported in full.
