Global carbon dioxide emissions from coal combustion 2023, by select country

China is the world's largest emitter of carbon dioxide emissions from coal combustion by far. In 2023, China emitted approximately 8.55 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide (GtCO₂) from coal combustion, which accounted for more than 50 percent of the global coal emissions. The second-largest emitter – India – produced 2.03 GtCO₂. Global coal emissions amounted to 15.4 GtCO₂ in 2023.

迄今为止，我国无疑是全球煤炭燃烧产生的二氧化碳排放量最大的国家。2023年，我国煤炭燃烧排放的二氧化碳总量约为85.5亿吨（GtCO₂），占全球煤炭排放量的50%以上。印度作为第二大排放国，其二氧化碳排放量为20.3亿吨（GtCO₂）。2023年全球煤炭排放总量达到154亿吨（GtCO₂）。
