This is occurrence data used in the analysis performed by Kass et al. 2020 in Ecological Applications, provided in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx) and a comma-separated text file (.csv). The occurrence data for <i>Heteromys australis</i> and <i>H. teleus</i> was first spatially thinned, then used for species distribution modeling, while the occurrence data for the hybrids was only used for plotting and comparing distances to spatial classifications (explained in the paper). Species occurrence data not used in modeling (i.e., removed via thinning or hybrid) is denoted with an "N" in the "Used in Modeling (Y/N)" column. Details on the occurrence records newly presented in this paper are in Appendix A, but the others were already published in the following publication, also referenced in the column "Source":<br>Anderson, R.
