Alaska Schools and School Districts

This map depicts Alaskan communities with public funded K-12 schools within that community, the borough school districts, city school districts, and Regional Education Attendance Area (REAA) boundaries and headquarters. It also shows communities without an active public K-12 school where the last public school closed since the year 2000. Contact information for school districts and REAAs are shown in a table. This map is updated annually around January. Note to GIS Admin: DO NOT DELETE. To publish a new version, use the UDPADE button.
