This dataset contains all the draft and final experimental and reconstructed data used in the study “Electrical Impedance Tomography for Gap and Hollow Detection in Phantoms”. The data were generated from controlled phantom experiments with 16 electrodes, employing both air and saline media, and include raw voltage measurements, reconstruction outputs, and quality evaluation metrics (CNR, PSNR, SSIM, CBR, and computation time). The paper is submitted in the "Engineering Research Express" Q1 IOP journal for consideration. The repository provides: Raw measurement voltage file. Reconstruction images (2D and 3D) in saline backgrounds. All data are provided in open formats (CSV, PNG, PDF) to ensure accessibility and reusability. Intended UseThe dataset supports transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) methods for defect detection, structural health monitoring, and imaging research. Researchers may use these datasets for benchmarking reconstruction algorithms, testing new regularization methods, or validating FEM-based EIT models.
